|
Composition and X-ray transmission Property very different plaster of paris to synthetic cast. We experiment on conversion exposure factor according to thickness of plaster of paris and synthetic cast. From the result of the this study, it could be concluded as follows. In synthetic cast radiography(3 layer, 4 ㎜) can make same density with changes in 8 kVp or 53%mAs. Wet plaster of paris(6 layer, 5.3 ㎜) can make same density with change of up to 11 kVp or 81%mAs. To the contrary dry plaster of paris(6 layer, 5.3 ㎜) can make same density with change of up to 10kVp or 73%mAs.
